Pre-K Program: Shorashim (שורשים) "Roots"
Experience the enriching and inviting Shorashim Pre-K Program at In the City Camps, specially designed for rising pre-Kindergarten campers. Shorashim, meaning "Roots," embodies the deep-seated skills and values we nurture in our young campers, aligning with the ethos of In the City Camps. Exciting news! Our program now offers flexible half-day and full-day options, providing ample opportunities for your child to thrive in a supportive and dynamic setting while growing and learning.
To ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for everyone, please note that all participants must be potty-trained and at least 4 years old by June 1st. For those enrolled in the full-day program, a dedicated 30-minute rest period after lunch awaits, allowing campers to recharge for the afternoon's activities. This integral part of our daily schedule ensures that each child remains engaged and energized throughout the day.
Pre-K Program Options
Half-Day Program (9:00 AM - 12:30 PM):
This half-day schedule is an ideal introduction to the camp world, offering a mix of snack and lunch breaks with 2-3 diverse activities each day. These activities are crafted to encourage curiosity, social skills, and basic motor development in a fun, educational, and playful environment. This option is great for children experiencing their first structured group setting or those who thrive in a shorter day structure.
Full-Day Program (9:00 AM - 4:00 PM):
For children who are accustomed to a full-day schedule or who crave a more immersive camp experience, the full-day program option extends the excitement and learning opportunities. This allows them to fully engage with the ITC camp experience, participating in a wider range of activities and enjoying longer periods of interaction and play.
